The critiques I received in my locker were, to me somewhat sugar coated. We have never not advanced from district and for this year to be the first, that would be a shame to not only us crew and actors but to our great director. Freshman, I know when you all were in middle school OAP you were fantastice, but so far this year I have failed to see the same determination and skill I did in the past. And not just you, but EVERYONE needs to get focused and serious fast or we're going to get killed, murdered, massacred by the time district comes around. PLEASE learn your lines! It's not alot to ask from y'all but if we have to go on stage thursday with books, that'll be embarrassing.
Oh and another thing, this is the first actual time that I have thought to myself, "Man we really suck this year." I have never in my three years of doing One Act, have I ever thought that. And I know that some of the others think that too. Please if we just get focused more we'll be able to cut it down to 40 minutes and we'll make the whole play better. Just be prepared, get focused, know your lines and blocking, and just be great like I know you all can be.
I felt practice wasnt great Sunday but it wasnt terrible. The court scene is really lacking on human sounds. We need to scream like a room full of old men watching a Cowboys game.
In the court scene I think that me and elston should be more biased for antionio and be more vocal about it, not so profesional about our jobs, cuz we hate jews too
